Boat Passengers Screening Intensified in Tidung Island Main Pier

Tidung Island Urban Village COVID-19 Task Force, South Thousand Islands Sub-district, intensifies screening on boat passengers.

We ask all boat passengers to show their negative COVID-19 certificate

Tidung Island Urban Village Head, Hafsah said screening was carried out by checking health protocols compliance and requiring passengers to show their negative COVID-19 certificate.

"We check both residents and tourists who have just arrived. We ask all boat passengers to show their negative COVID-19 certificate," he mentioned, Monday (4/19).  

204 Boat Passengers Take Rapid Antigen Test at Tidung Island Main Pier

This morning, he informed, his side immediately screened about 50 tourists and residents who arrived on Tidung Island. As the result, one tourist was found unable to show negative COVID-19 certificate.

"We ask the tourist to take rapid antigen test and the result is negative for COVID-19. Health center (puskesmas) team is always on standby to anticipate passengers who don't bring negative COVID-19 certificate," he stated.
